You’re Not Going Under, You’re Walking Through!

Isaiah 43:2
“When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on Me to be there with you.
When you pass through raging rivers, you will not drown.
When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned;
the flames will not harm you.”

God never promised that we would avoid the storms, the raging waters, or the fire, but He did promise that His presence would go with us in the midst of them.

Isaiah 43:2 is God’s declaration that deliverance is not always a path out of difficulty, but often a path through it. The miracle is not the absence of storms but the presence of God within them.

This mirrors Psalm 23:4: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death… You are with me.”

You may feel the pressure, but you will not be destroyed.
You may feel the heat, but you will not be consumed.
You may see the raging waters, but they will not overtake you.

Why?
Because the presence of God is your deliverance.
The One who parted seas, calmed storms, and stood in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is the same One walking with you now.

Your victory is not delayed, it is being formed as you walk through.

You are walking through,
and you will come out unharmed,
victorious, refined like pure gold and silver,
and established in righteousness,
because God Himself goes with you.

Amen.
