The Gift of Discernment
March 8, 20261 Thessalonians 5:24 (TPT)
“The one who calls you by name is trustworthy and will thoroughly complete his work in you.”
When God calls a person, He also carries the responsibility of bringing His work to completion. The One who speaks the calling is trustworthy. His character guarantees the fulfillment of what He has begun.
Throughout the Bible we see that God orders steps, opens doors, and aligns circumstances so that His purposes unfold exactly as He intends. What He initiates, He sustains. What He promises, He oversees. Even in seasons where the process feels slow or uncertain, God is still actively working behind the scenes.
Your confidence is not in your own strength, connections, or opportunities. Your confidence rests in the faithfulness of the One who called you by name. The same God who began His work in you is fully committed to finishing it.
Our God is able.
And our God is faithful.
Declaration
I place my trust in the One who called me.
He is faithfully completing the work He began in my life.
He is ordering my steps and fulfilling His purpose in me.
I trust His faithfulness and rest in His ability to finish what He started.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
