Dominion That Cannot Be Overturned
March 26, 2026Genesis 1:4 (TPT)
“And God saw the light as pleasing and beautiful; he used the light to dispel the darkness.”
Matthew 5:14 (TPT)
“Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop?”
From the very beginning, God established a pattern: light is His answer to darkness. He introduced light, and darkness had no choice but to leave. And now, through Christ, we carry that same assignment.
The work of our hands is not ordinary. When it is yielded to God, it becomes a carrier of light. God sees our labor as pleasing and beautiful.
Every assignment we put our hands to becomes a channel through which light is released into dark places. God blesses the work of our hands and causes it to bear fruit according to His Word. We dispel darkness through obedience.
Job’s story is often remembered for suffering, but its true climax, in the fourth act (Job 38-42), is not loss, but revelation of God and restoration.
Job walked through a season where everything felt dark. But when God revealed Himself, light broke through his understanding. And then came restoration. Full restoration with increase.
What followed was a life that testified to God’s goodness.
In the same way, God brings His light into our lives, restores what has been affected by darkness, and uses the work of our hands to carry that light into the world.
What God restores, He fills with light. And what He fills with light, He releases into the world.
