Daniel 6:4 (LSB)
“…But they were not able to find any ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him.”
Daniel distinguished himself through an excellent spirit, a life of integrity, and an unwavering devotion to God. His faithfulness was established long before he entered the lions’ den. Daniel had developed a relationship with God that remained steadfast even when his life was threatened.
What Daniel’s enemies intended for his destruction became the very place where God’s power was revealed. Daniel emerged from the lions’ den unharmed, and King Darius issued a proclamation throughout the kingdom declaring the greatness of the living God (Daniel 6:25-27).
A life faithfully surrendered to God becomes a vessel through which His glory is revealed to others.
The Lord develops our capacity to carry His glory through the hidden years of preparation in the secret place, through faithful stewardship of the little, through obedience, and even through the seasons of opposition. The depth of our relationship with Him is revealed in the way we stand, regardless of our outward circumstances.
Psalm 24:3-4 (NKJV)
“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord ? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.”
God is preparing a people with clean hands and pure hearts, who will faithfully carry His presence and reveal His character in every sphere of influence He entrusts to them.
Your life carries the testimony that causes others to recognize the living God, stand in awe of His power, and give Him all the glory.
