Exodus 25:8 (LSB)
“And let them make a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them.”

From Genesis to Revelation, God desires to dwell among His people. The Bible reveals God establishing a dwelling place for His presence and glory among His people.

In Eden, God walked with Adam and Eve. At Bethel, Jacob encountered God and declared, “This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven” (Genesis 28:17). Then in Exodus, God delivers Israel from slavery, establishes covenant with them, and gives Moses the plans for the Tabernacle. His purpose is beautifully expressed in one sentence: “that I may dwell among them.”

God brought Israel out of Egypt and into His presence. Deliverance prepared a people among whom He could dwell. The journey from slavery, through the blood of the Passover lamb, through the waters of the Red Sea, and toward Sinai led to the glory of Yahweh filling the Tabernacle.

Exodus 40:34 (LSB)
“Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Yahweh filled the tabernacle.”

Then David established a tent around the presence of God. Solomon built the Temple, and the glory of Yahweh filled the house. Then Yeshua came, and John tells us that “the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). God had once again pitched His tent among humanity, this time in the Person of His Son.

Through Yeshua’s death and resurrection, the blood of Jesus gives us access into the Holy Place. Then the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, and the dwelling place expanded. We became His Temple.

1 Peter 2:5 (LSB)
“You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

God is building His House from living stones. Every believer becomes part of this sacred dwelling place. His presence lives within us individually, while together we are being built into a spiritual house for His glory.

And Revelation shows us where the entire story is going.

Revelation 21:3 (LSB)
“…Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them.”

Eden → Bethel → Tabernacle → David’s Tent → Temple → Yeshua → Living Stones → New Jerusalem.

One single desire runs through the entire story: God wants to dwell with His people.

The Tabernacle of Exodus became a prophetic picture within God’s unfolding plan of dwelling among humanity. The God whose glory filled the Tabernacle has chosen to make His dwelling within His people.

You are part of the House God has been building throughout the entire biblical story.

The God who said to Moses, “Let them make a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them,” now dwells within you by His Spirit.

And the building continues, living stone by living stone.

God has prepared you among His remnant for such an hour as this. He has refined and consecrated a people as vessels for His presence. He has prepared a people who know how to dwell with Him, carry His presence, walk in His ways, and steward the greater weight of His glory.

Now there is a greater manifestation of His glory coming through His prepared people. This is a season where the Lord is raising up His remnant to carry His presence and Kingdom authority into every sphere of influence, revealing Yeshua through their lives and demonstrating the reality of His Kingdom throughout the earth.

Habakkuk 2:14 (LSB)
“For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, As the waters cover the sea.”

The Lord has prepared the House. He has prepared His dwelling place. Now comes His glory.

He is using a consecrated remnant, prepared for such an hour as this, to carry His greater glory until the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh fills the earth as the waters cover the sea.

Jeremiah 23:25-26 (LSB)
“I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy a lie in My name, saying, ‘I had a dream, I had a dream!’ … prophets of the deception of their own heart.”

Covetousness learns the language of faith. Personal ambition becomes prophetic vision. Presumption becomes declaration. Desire becomes revelation, where what they want begins to be presented as what God has said.

Micah 2:2 (TPT)
“They covet someone’s field and seize it for themselves, and they take over his house as well. They defraud a man of his home and another man of his inheritance.”

Scripture warns that this can happen wherever spiritual influence and access to resources meet. There are those who “covet fields and then seize them.”

Jeremiah 6:13 (TPT)
“From the smallest to the greatest, they are greedy for corrupt profits; prophet and priest alike, they all practice deceit.”

Jeremiah places greed for gain alongside spiritual leadership and deceit, saying, “from the prophet even to the priest they all practice deceit.”

1 Timothy 6:5 (LSB)
“And constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.”

Paul warns of those who imagine godliness as a means of gain.

Jeremiah 23:16 (LSB)
“…They are leading you into vanity; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of Yahweh.”

Covetousness begins as “the deceit of their own heart.” When left unchecked, it searches for a mechanism through which it can acquire what is desired. Position, relationships, and influence become that mechanism. Even prophecy and perceived divine authority become mechanisms when someone attaches the name of God to the desire of their own heart.

A person can desire something so intensely that desire begins masquerading as revelation. “I want this” becomes “God showed me this.” Personal ambition becomes “Kingdom assignment.” Pressure becomes “obedience.” Acquisition becomes “favor.” Fabrications become “speaking in faith.”

Yet biblical faith has an object: God and His Word.

Faith agrees with what God has spoken. Faith can wait. Faith can be tested. Faith welcomes truth because the God upon whom faith rests is Truth. Faith has no requirement for fabricated stories, concealed information, manipulated relationships, or borrowed spiritual authority to accomplish what God has promised.

Gehazi provides a sobering picture in 2 Kings 5:20-27. Elisha had refused Naaman’s resources, yet Gehazi coveted what had been offered. He pursued Naaman and borrowed Elisha’s prophetic credibility to gain access to something Elisha had already refused. He fabricated a story, obtained the resources, concealed them, and then concealed his actions from Elisha.

The progression is revealing: Covetous desire → borrowed spiritual authority → fabricated story → access to another person’s resources → concealment.

Gehazi even began his pursuit with spiritual language: “As Yahweh lives…”

The presence of God’s name within a declaration therefore cannot authenticate the declaration. Spiritual vocabulary cannot sanctify covetousness. Prophetic language cannot transform deception into faith.

Jesus gives us the test:

Matthew 7:16 (LSB)
“You will know them by their fruits…“

Paul gives us another safeguard. When administering financial resources, he deliberately created accountability because he desired to do what was honorable “not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men” (2 Corinthians 8:20-21). Biblical stewardship welcomes transparency. Integrity can withstand examination. Truth lives in the light.

For those serving under spiritual authority, this distinction matters deeply. Submission never requires participation in deception. Honor never requires surrendering discernment. Someone else’s “conviction” does not automatically become your instruction from God.

We are commanded to test what we hear. “Test all things; hold fast what is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). The Bereans were commended because they examined even Paul’s teaching against Scripture (Acts 17:11). John tells believers to “test the spirits” (1 John 4:1).

God awakens discernment in people who have lived under unhealthy spiritual influence. Things once accepted without question suddenly become visible. Words that once carried tremendous weight begin to be examined against Scripture. Patterns become recognizable. Contradictions become apparent. The Holy Spirit begins separating the voice of God from the voice of false influence surrounding them.

Come Out of False Agreement

The Lord is awakening people who have unknowingly come into agreement with things He never spoke.

He is bringing hidden motives into the light and restoring discernment to those whose discernment has been suppressed by loyalty, fear, dependency, misplaced honor, or perceived spiritual authority. He is teaching His people again to recognize His voice for themselves.

There are people who will begin looking back over conversations, declarations, financial decisions, relationships, and assignments with fresh clarity. Things that once appeared spiritual will suddenly become recognizable for what they are. The fruit will reveal the tree.

The Lord is calling His people out of agreement with covetousness disguised as vision, presumption disguised as faith, manipulation disguised as obedience, and deception disguised as prophetic declaration.

Where hearts have become entangled, God is bringing conviction. Where consciences have become quiet, He is awakening them. Where discernment has been surrendered, He is restoring it. Where people have participated through ignorance, He is giving opportunity for repentance, cleansing, restitution where required, and a return to walking in truth.

And for those exercising leadership, this is also an invitation from the mercy of God. He is exposing what He intends to heal. He is calling hearts away from ambition, possession, control, and the fear of losing what they have built. He is calling His servants back to clean hands, pure hearts, transparent stewardship, and complete dependence upon Him as Provider.

God does provide for what He authors. His provision can therefore be received with clean hands.

There is a separation taking place between what God actually spoke and what human desire added to it.

Return to the Word. Test the fruit. Bring hidden things into the light. Allow the Holy Spirit to examine every agreement you have made because someone told you, “God said.”

You belong to Yeshua. You hear His voice.

And where His voice is bringing conviction, follow Him into the light.

1 Corinthians 16:9 (LSB)
“For a wide and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”

An open door and opposition can exist in the same season. Resistance does not determine whether God has called you to an assignment. Paul recognized that a wide and effective door had opened before him even while adversaries surrounded it.

Remain faithful to the assignment God has given you. When competing voices create uncertainty, return to His Word and what He has spoken. Allow the present pressure to train your discernment, deepen your dependence upon Him, strengthen your boundaries, and enlarge your capacity for what He is preparing you to carry.

The battle around an assignment is the training ground for the capacity required to carry its expansion. God is developing you as He prepares the territory ahead of you.

Keep your hand to the plough. Keep your eyes upon Him. Continue doing the next thing He has told you to do.

You are standing at the doorway of greater expansion. Allow the resistance of this season to strengthen you for the territory ahead. And when God’s appointed moment arrives, watch as He moves you into all He has prepared you to carry with extraordinary speed.

Isaiah 54:2-3 (LSB)
“Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not hold back; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your seed will possess nations And will resettle the desolate cities.”

Growth and expansion are covenant promises established through Christ. As heirs of Abraham, we have inherited God’s blessing to multiply, increase, and steward every assignment He entrusts to us. Growth is about becoming the kind of people who can faithfully carry what God desires to release. As God enlarges our hearts, He entrusts us with greater influence, responsibility, and fruitfulness.

Isaiah 54 begins with a command before it reveals a promise: “Enlarge the place of your tent.” God calls His people to prepare before they possess. He enlarges capacity before He enlarges territory, forming the heart before releasing the inheritance. Faith stretches first. Fulfillment follows.

Wilderness seasons are never permanent destinations. They are places of preparation where God strengthens character, deepens faith, and enlarges spiritual capacity. Temporary restriction never limits covenant destiny. The wilderness teaches us to speak the language of the Promised Land before we arrive there.

Throughout Scripture, God consistently invited His people to declare His promises before they experienced them. Abraham was called the father of many nations before Isaac was born. Joshua and Caleb proclaimed possession while others saw giants. Faith continually agrees with God’s Word before His promises become visible in our lives.

This is why we continue declaring growth, increase, and expansion even when circumstances appear small. Our declarations agree with what God has already spoken. We proclaim according to His covenant rather than our present circumstances.

Deuteronomy 8:18 (LSB)
“But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

God Himself gives the ability to produce wealth and establish His covenant. Every strategy, every opportunity, every creative idea, and every open door flows from Him. Heaven’s provision always accompanies Heaven’s purpose.

Job 8:7 (LSB)
“Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will increase greatly.”

Small beginnings become great increase because God delights in developing His purposes and revealing His glory through them. What begins as a seed of faithful obedience becomes a testimony of His covenant faithfulness.

Galatians 3:29 (LSB)
“And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to promise.”

As heirs through Christ, we stand in the same covenant promises God gave Abraham. The blessing that enabled Isaac to reap a hundredfold in famine, sustained Joseph in prison, and established Daniel in exile remains active today. God continues to establish His purposes through people who trust His Word above their circumstances.

Every season of preparation strengthens us for the increase God has purposed. God faithfully equips His people to stand firm as He forms their character and enlarges their capacity. Every wilderness has an appointed end, and every promise reaches its fulfillment in His perfect time.

The season ahead will become the visible demonstration of what was first established through faithful agreement with God’s Word. Continue enlarging your faith. Continue declaring His promises. Continue preparing for increase. Keep speaking forward. The God who taught you to stretch your tent will also fill it with the fulfillment of His covenant.

Proverbs 28:1 (NKJV)
“…The righteous are bold as a lion.”

The Lord calls His people to walk in boldness. This confidence is formed through righteousness and established by abiding in the One who holds all authority. His strength fortifies your heart. His authority steadies your steps. His presence enables you to stand firm.

The Lord is calling His remnant to reflect His kingly character. Walk with courage, exercise righteous authority with humility, remain steadfast in every season, and lead with faithful obedience. The Lord is forming a people whose lives reveal His nature and faithfully carry the Kingdom responsibilities He has entrusted to them in this hour.

We are entering a season where greater Kingdom assignments are being entrusted to those He can trust. Those with clean hands and pure hearts. Those who have remained faithful in hidden places are now being entrusted with greater Kingdom assignments. You have been prepared to steward His purposes with wisdom, humility, and faithfulness.

And in this season, you will find opposition, but the Lord says, “Do not shrink back when opposition rises before you. Stand firm in what I have spoken. The same grace that prepared you through the wilderness will sustain you. The same hand that led you into this assignment will establish you in it. Remain steadfast, for I will bring the victory.”

This is the hour for the Bride of Christ to arise with holy courage. Walk in the character of the King. Carry His authority with humility, and remain steadfast in every assignment He has entrusted to you. Do not yield to fear or retreat before opposition, for the Lord is establishing a people through whom the reality of His Kingdom will be revealed in the earth.

Through lives marked by righteousness, courage, and faithful obedience, the reality of His reign will be made visible in families, churches, businesses, education, government, the arts, and every sphere of society. The everlasting Kingdom is advancing, and Christ is raising up a people who faithfully represent His heart and His rule until the knowledge of the glory of the Lord fills the earth.

Jeremiah 6:16 (LSB)
“Thus says Yahweh, ‘Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is, and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls.’”

The Lord is preparing you to carry greater glory. The ancient paths are how He prepares you to bear its weight. This has always been God’s chosen way of preparing His people.

Do not despise the long road of formation. Every season is preparing you for the appointed opportunities and sovereign set times that He has already ordained. The hidden work of God is always moving you toward the fulfillment of His purpose.

The Lord is saying,
“Do not mistake My preparation for absence. I have been leading you along the ancient paths, establishing deep foundations that will sustain the weight of what I have prepared for you. What I have been forming in secret will sustain what I reveal through you.”

You were formed for an appointed time and positioned for an ordained assignment. Your life has been woven into a redemptive story far greater than you can presently see. God has prepared works for you to walk in, and your obedience in this generation matters to His unfolding purposes in the earth.

The long road of formation has been preparing you for what God prepared for you. The hidden seasons, the ancient paths, and every place of faithful obedience have been forming you to carry what He has entrusted to your life. There are appointed times when you will understand why the journey required what it did.

Your “for such a time as this” moment has already been established by Him. The roots He develops in secret will sustain the fruit He brings forth in public. At the appointed time, formation and assignment will converge, and you will find yourself standing in places for which God has been preparing you all along.

The ancient paths are producing something far greater than you ever imagined. They are forming sons and daughters who know the Shepherd’s voice, vessels that carry His presence with humility, and a Bride prepared for the coming King. God is preparing a people who can faithfully carry His purposes in their generation and take their place in His unfolding redemptive story.

The Lord is saying,
“Lean into My promise. The ancient path is the pathway of My presence. Walk with Me, and you will find rest for your soul. Lay every disappointment before Me, and I will strengthen your heart for everything I have appointed. I have been preparing you for what I prepared for you.”

His timing is perfect. His purposes are sure. Every season of faithful preparation moves you closer to the moment He has already ordained.

Do not despise the long road of formation. You are being prepared to take your place in His unfolding redemptive story.

Song of Songs 2:15 (LSB)
“Seize the foxes for us, The little foxes that are wreaking destruction on the vineyards, While our vineyards are in blossom.”

The Master never abandons the work of His hands.

The One who patiently formed you through hidden seasons, refined your faith, and shaped your character also watches over the fruit He has cultivated within you. The Lord does not leave His vineyard unguarded. He Himself catches the little foxes.

God has seen those who quietly and strategically sought to diminish your calling. He has seen every attempt to subvert your destiny. Yet your battle was never against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness seeking to spoil the fruit of your obedience. Nothing has escaped His notice.

Every demonic scheme, every hidden strategy, and every cunning work of the enemy must yield to the hand of the Great Shepherd, who faithfully watches over His vineyard. He Himself is catching the little foxes and driving them from the vineyard.

The Lord is closing doors that no longer belong in your next season. He is removing every point of access the enemy exploited to monitor, surveil, and undermine your assignment. He is separating you from every relationship, distraction, and system that would hinder His purpose. The vineyard belongs to Him, and He faithfully guards what He has planted.

You have spent seasons yielding to the Master’s hands. He has carefully shaped His vessel, refined your faith, and established His work within you. Now He is ordering your path. The same God who prepared the vessel also prepares the way.

Walk forward with confidence. The Lord has gone before you. The little foxes will not spoil the harvest, for the Keeper of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. The fruit He has patiently cultivated will flourish. His calling determines your destiny, not the little foxes. The Master never abandons the work of His hands.
