“I know all that you’ve done. Now I have set before you a wide-open door that none can shut. For I know that you possess only a little power, yet you’ve kept my word and haven’t denied my name.”
God prepares His people in hidden seasons. Waiting is a season of stewardship. While waiting on promises to unfold, stay active. Continue praying, serving, worshiping, and acting in obedience.
The church at Philadelphia possessed only a little power, yet because they remained faithful, Jesus set before them a wide-open door. Small acts of obedience carry great weight in the Kingdom of God. Even in the wilderness season, God sees every prayer offered, every seed sown, every step of faith, and every unseen act of service. Nothing goes unnoticed.
Remain active in the things of God. Stay faithful with what is in your hand today. What may seem small and insignificant is often the very key that unlocks wide-open doors. The Lord who sees your obedience in hidden places is the One who sets before you doors that no man can shut.
