Open Heaven Over the House

The Lord is saying, “Be still. I am moving in the places you cannot reach. I am dealing with what you cannot control. I am establishing My purposes while everything around you appears to be shaking. Release it into My hands and watch what I will do.”
Isaiah speaks of the one who fears Yahweh, listens to His voice, and yet walks through darkness with no light. There are seasons when we are faithfully walking with God while having no visible clarity concerning what He is doing or what comes next.
Isaiah 50:10 (LSB)
“Who is among you that fears Yahweh, That listens to the voice of His Servant, That walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Yahweh and rely on his God.”
In the stillness, trust Him.
Psalm 62:1, 5 (LSB)
“Surely my soul waits in silence for God; From Him is my salvation … Surely wait in silence for God, O my soul, For my hope is from Him.”
There are things we cannot reach, situations we cannot control, and places where we cannot see what God is doing. We release them into His hands and wait before Him. Our confidence rests in His character and in what He has already spoken.
Micah 7:7 (LSB)
“But as for me, I will watch expectantly for Yahweh; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.”
While you wait in silence, watch expectantly.
Even when there is no visible movement, stretch your faith and keep watch. When there is no fresh word, remain attentive. When we cannot see what God is doing, we can confidently rely upon Him, because His purposes continue to be established beyond what our eyes can perceive.
Be still. Release what you cannot control. Trust Him in the places where you have no light.
Then watch expectantly.
My God will hear me.
