Ephesians 6:13 (LSB)
“Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”
Yes, the battle has been prolonged and your armor feels battered. Your faith has been tested, strength has been depleted, and questions have gone unanswered. Even after describing the armor God has provided, Paul gives us this instruction: “having done everything, to stand firm.”
Your victory is found in continuing to stand.
God knows exactly where the battle has hit you the hardest. He sees every place where your faith has been tested and every area where prolonged resistance has required endurance. Right now, He is supplying strength for you to remain standing in what He has spoken over you.
His promises still stand. His faithfulness still stands. His covenant still stands. The finished work of Yeshua still stands. He remains faithful, so remain standing.
You have been battling, and you are carrying the marks of warfare, yet you are still here. God has sustained you.
Receive His fresh strength in this hour. Take up the shield of faith again. Come into agreement with what God has spoken over you, and stand.
Having done everything, stand firm.
