What’s Coming Is Far Greater Than You Imagined

Give Thanks. Bless. Prophesy.
January 22, 2026Psalm 33:11 [NKJV]
“The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.”
Faith was never meant to be lived with contingency.
Stay the course. Trust the process.
We often speak of “Plan B” as a safety net. A backup. A fallback in case the first plan fails. But with God, there is no Plan B. If there were, it would imply uncertainty in His wisdom, revision in His purpose, or failure in His power. Scripture reveals none of these in God.
God does not adjust His will based on outcomes. What He speaks, He completes. What He begins, He finishes.
Psalm 138:8 [TPT]
“You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!”
From the beginning, God has been decisive. Creation was not revised. Redemption was not reconsidered. The cross was not provisional. When Jesus declared, “It is finished,” He did not mean nearly complete or subject to review. He meant fully accomplished.
Plan B thinking often arises when circumstances feel uncertain, delayed, or difficult. But Scripture consistently reminds us that when human plans fail, God’s purposes remain untouched.
Psalm 146:3-5 [TPT]
“We can never look to men for help; no matter who they are … But those who hope in the Lord will be happy and pleased! Our help comes from the God of Jacob!”
Although people can steer themselves down an alternate route, this never affects God’s ultimate will. Trusting God means anchoring our lives in the reality that He already knows the end from the beginning. It means believing that what feels like delay is not denial, and what appears like loss is not failure. God is not reacting to our circumstances. He is governing them.
This is why we can live without contingency faith. We do not need a spiritual backup plan because Heaven has already rendered its verdict. The blood of Jesus secured access, provision, healing, forgiveness, and future. Nothing remains undecided.
Colossians 2:14 [AMP]
“Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of legal demands [which were in force] against us and which were hostile to us. And this certificate He has set aside and completely removed by nailing it to the cross.”
When we stand before God, we stand in confidence. We agree with what is written. We align with what He has already established.
Faith is resting in the truth that He already has a sovereign will mapped out for us, and a destiny prepared for its fulfillment.
So when the path feels narrow, when the pressure increases, or when familiar supports fall away, remember this: God is executing a plan that has never required revision or reconsideration.
With God, there is no Plan B.
There never needed to be.
