What God Is Bringing You Into, He Promises to Personally Sustain
March 18, 2026There are seasons when the battle feels unusually intense. Where the enemy attempts to discourage, distract, and cloud what God has spoken. But the Word of God reminds us that our authority and victory are already secured. There is great power in the victory of the cross.
The cross was a complete triumph over every principality and power. Through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, the authority of darkness has been broken, and we stand under the protection and lordship of the King of Kings.
Take courage. The enemy may resist through a season of opposition, but he cannot overturn what God has ordained.
James 1:12 reminds us,
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
Your perseverance matters. Every season of testing produces endurance, and endurance produces maturity in those who continue to trust the Lord.
If you have remained faithful, if you have continued to stand on God’s Word when circumstances looked uncertain, know this: God sees your faithfulness, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun.
Believers all experience challenging moments during their walk with the Lord. But after seasons of testing and perseverance, God brings them to a place of “crossing over.” Where what seemed blocked begins to open, and the path forward becomes clear.
This does not mean opposition disappears. Having crossed over the flooding Jordan, Israel still faced battles in their promised land. But the most important truth was, God had brought them through the river, and was with them to fight the battles ahead.
Scripture reminds us that nothing hidden remains concealed forever. In His goodness, God exposes what needs to be revealed so that His people can walk forward in wisdom and discernment.
Psalm 23 describes the posture of the believer:
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
The enemy may oppose you, but he cannot stop the blessing and purpose that God has prepared. The Lord Himself goes before you, establishes your steps, and prepares the path ahead.
So do not lose heart.
Stand firm in the authority you have in Christ.
Continue to declare the promises of God over your life and your family.
The same Jesus who triumphed over the powers of darkness now lives within you. His resurrection life strengthens you, guides you, and leads you forward.
Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
God is faithful to complete what He has begun. So lift your eyes. Strengthen your faith. Stand confidently in the victory of Jesus.
Just as the Lord led His people across the Jordan into the land He had promised, He is faithful to guide you through every season and into the purposes He has prepared for you.
He who promised is faithful.
