Isaiah 62:6-7 (LSB)
“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind Yahweh, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
God appoints watchmen to continually bring His promises before Him. The Hebrew word mazkirim describes those who bring something to remembrance, appointed remembrancers who stand before the King with His own Word. Like faithful administrators of Kingdom affairs, they attend to what God has declared, persistently petitioning Him for its fulfillment.
God is inviting His remnant into a posture of faithful intercession, where His Word becomes the foundation of our prayers and His promises become the substance of our petitions. The people of God must arise in prayer, stand upon His Word, and call upon Him to establish His purposes.
As we approach His throne with confidence, we bring His promises before Him, declaring His faithfulness over our lives, our households, and the circumstances confronting us. We stand in agreement with what He has spoken, trusting Him to accomplish His Word.
Twelve Prophetic Prayer Points
Bringing His Word to Remembrance
1. Revelation and Divine Understanding
Jeremiah 33:3 (LSB)
“Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
Invite Adonai to reveal great and mighty things you do not know. God calls His people to seek Him, promising to answer and reveal what lies beyond our present understanding. God is able to answer prayer and reveal things that are beyond man’s knowledge.
2. Blessing and Peace Over Our Households
Proverbs 3:33 (LSB)
“The curse of Yahweh is on the house of the wicked one, But He blesses the abode of the righteous.”
The blessing of Yahweh rests upon the dwelling of the righteous. As we bring our households before Him, we ask that His presence, peace, righteousness, and favor be established in every area of our family life. As we walk in His ways, we invite His blessing to shape the atmosphere of our homes.
3. Truth and Vindication
John 3:33 (LSB)
“He who has received His witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.”
Whoever receives God’s testimony affirms that God is true. His Word establishes the foundation upon which we stand. Accusations, misrepresentations, and falsehoods cannot stand when brought before the God of all truth. Those who accept his testimony take God’s true seal upon themselves.
4. Deliverance from Affliction and Restoration of Joy
Lamentations 3:33 (TPT)
“The Lord takes no delight in afflicting anyone with suffering.”
God’s heart is revealed through His compassion. Even in seasons of affliction, His mercies remain available to those who seek Him. We appeal to His covenant faithfulness, asking Him to bring healing, restoration, renewed strength, and joy where sorrow has endured.
5. Hidden and Secure in Christ
Colossians 3:3 (LSB)
“For you died and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.”
Our lives are hidden with Christ in God. This is the security of our covenant position in Yeshua. We belong to Him, and our identity, hope, and eternal inheritance are established in His finished work. We pray from this place of union with Christ, entrusting our lives to His faithful care.
6. Breaking the Chains of Bondage
Acts 16:25-26 (LSB)
“But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. And suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the jailhouse were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were unfastened.”
Paul and Silas’ testimony reveals the power of God to intervene in impossible circumstances. We bring every place of captivity before Him, believing that He is able to deliver, restore, and open what has been shut.
7. God Arising Against Opposition
Psalm 68:1 (TPT)
“God! Arise with awesome power, and every one of your enemies will scatter in fear!”
When God arises, His enemies are scattered. Throughout Scripture, the Lord demonstrates His power to defend His people and establish His purposes despite opposition. We call upon Yahweh to go before us, remove every hindrance to His will, and establish the victory that belongs to Him.
8. Protection Against Every Weapon
Isaiah 54:17 (LSB)
“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn…”
God promises His servants protection and vindication. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and this promise emerges from His covenant commitment to restore and establish His people. We stand upon His faithfulness, asking Him to preserve us and uphold His righteousness.
9. The Overturning of Wicked Traps
Psalm 7:15-16 (LSB)
“He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made. His mischief will return upon his own head, And his violence will descend upon his own skull.”
Appeal to the righteous Judge to expose wickedness, protect the innocent, and bring every unjust plan to an end. There is a recurring principle in Scripture of divine justice in which every “pit-digger” who works to trap and harm others will be trapped by their own treachery.
10. Divine Justice Against Hidden Schemes
Proverbs 26:27 (TPT)
“Go ahead, set a trap for others—and then watch as it snaps back on you! Start a landslide and you’ll be the one who gets crushed.”
This proverb reveals the consequences of destructive intentions and the moral order established by God. We ask the Lord to intervene where injustice has been concealed and to prevent the schemes of the wicked from accomplishing their purpose.
11. Exposing Hidden Nets
Psalm 9:15 (LSB)
“The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made; In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.”
The Lord sees what is hidden, and His judgments reveal the consequences of wickedness. We ask Him to uncover concealed schemes of wickedness among the nations and within governments, and bring His people into freedom and safety.
12. The Establishment of Righteous Judgment
Ecclesiastes 10:8 (LSB)
“He who digs a pit may fall into it, and a serpent may bite him who breaks through a wall.”
Scripture repeatedly reveals that wickedness carries its own destructive harvest. We appeal to God to restrain evil, uphold righteousness, and establish justice according to His perfect wisdom.
Putting it all together in Prayer
Father, in the mighty name of Yeshua, I come boldly before Your throne of grace, bringing Your Word into remembrance. You are Yahweh, the covenant-keeping God, faithful to every promise You have spoken. Your Word is established forever, and Your purposes stand throughout every generation.
You have appointed watchmen upon the walls, those who will give themselves to prayer and continually bring Your promises before You. Today, I take my place upon the wall, standing in agreement with Your Word. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
I bring my family and the remnant Bride before You, and ask that You reveal the great and mighty things we do not know. Open our understanding, sharpen our discernment, and illuminate the path before us. Where there has been confusion, release wisdom. Where direction has been hidden, bring clarity. Teach us to recognize Your voice and walk faithfully in Your ways.
Let Your blessing rest upon our homes and dwelling places as we travel. Establish peace within the walls, righteousness in our decisions, unity in our relationships, and Your manifest presence wherever we are. Let our homes continually be places where Your Word is honored and Your purposes are fulfilled.
Father, let Your truth prevail. Bring every false accusation, hidden deception, and unjust report into the light. You are the righteous Judge who searches hearts and examines every matter. Establish truth, defend our innocence, and bring vindication according to Your perfect wisdom.
Remember Your mercies, O Lord. Bring healing where there have been wounded hearts, deliverance where there is affliction, and restoration to those who have endured seasons of sorrow. Renew our strength, restore our joy, and establish us securely in the hope of Your salvation.
Thank You that our lives are hidden with Christ in You. We belong to Yeshua, and our confidence rests in His finished work. Guard our hearts, preserve our faith, and keep us steadfast in the calling You have placed upon our lives.
Arise, O Yahweh, and let Your enemies be scattered!
Let every chain of bondage be broken by Your power. Open prison doors, release captives, and bring freedom wherever darkness has held people in oppression. Just as You intervened when Paul and Silas prayed at midnight, let Your mighty hand be revealed in circumstances that require divine intervention.
We stand upon Your Word and declare that no weapon formed against Your servants shall prosper. Let every accusation be answered by Your truth and every scheme of darkness be brought under Your righteous judgment.
Expose the hidden traps and overturn every wicked plot. Where injustice has been devised, establish righteousness. Where deceit has taken root, bring truth. Where the innocent have been targeted, arise as their defender. Let the works of wickedness collapse, and let Your justice prevail.
Father, establish what You have promised. Bring Your purposes to completion in our lives, our homes, our communities, and the nations. Raise up faithful watchmen who will stand upon Your Word, discern Your heart, and persevere in intercession.
We bring Your promises before You with thanksgiving, knowing that You are faithful to accomplish all that You have purposed.
Let Your righteousness be revealed, Your Kingdom advance, and Your glory fill the earth.
In the mighty and victorious name of Yeshua, amen.
