Stand Even When the Armor Feels Battered
September 1, 2026Mark 7:37 (LSB)
“And they were utterly astonished, saying, ‘He has done all things well…’”
Yeshua does all things well.
A man who was unable to hear and struggled to speak was brought to Yeshua. Yeshua took him aside, touched his ears and tongue, looked toward heaven and spoke one command: “Ephphatha!” meaning, “Be opened!”
Immediately his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he began speaking plainly.
The people looked at what Yeshua had done and declared, “He has done all things well.”
The Greek word translated “well” is kalōs. It describes something done well, rightly, beautifully, excellently, or admirably. It speaks to the quality and goodness of what has been accomplished. They had witnessed the workmanship of Messiah and recognized excellence in His work.
He does all things well. Very well.
There is an echo of creation in their declaration. Genesis tells us that when God looked upon everything He had made, He saw that it was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Now Yeshua stands within creation, reversing the devastation of the fall, and the people look upon His work and declare, “He has done all things well.”
There is something important here for those presently standing inside a process with God. Your breakthrough comes with excellence. Yeshua completes His work according to the excellence of His character. His wisdom is in it. His timing is in it. His goodness is in it. His attention to every detail is in it.
When His work becomes visible, you will marvel at what He has done. You will see the scale, the precision, and the beauty of His workmanship and understand why the people who witnessed His work were “utterly astonished.”
You may currently be experiencing unfinished places or waiting on a promise. Yeshua operates with excellence. The hands bringing about your breakthrough belong to the One who does all things well.
God works deeply in places that require His personal attention. He is preparing, aligning, restoring, and bringing things into their appointed order. And just as Yeshua spoke over the man in Mark 7, His command is coming to places where you have encountered prolonged resistance:
“Be opened!”
Expect doors to open. Expect understanding to open. Expect opportunities to open. Expect what God has been preparing to respond to His Word.
Soon, you will look at what Yeshua has done and marvel at the excellence of His work. What He has been preparing will carry the evidence of His wisdom, His timing, His faithfulness, and His workmanship.
Prepare to be utterly astonished.
He does all things well.
